I started my internet marketing career in 2005. I had little to no marketing experience and had to learn a lot of new skills. I must admit though that this industry is filled with hundreds of enthusiastic individuals who are willing to share their knowledge with you in hopes of making you money. There are also people who are buying every guru’s product with the intent of the program being listed as their ‘own’ product.
There are a few very popular, efficient and effective leads generation methods that will absolutely drive your business in order to make you serious money.
Here are some of the proven free techniques:
A. Article Marketing: -This is probably one of the most highly effective free generation methods on the internet. I decided to take advantage of article marketing after years of struggling to generate free marketing leads. The article contains an author’s bio and two links to my target website or landing page. When people are searching for information about your product or service they will encounter your article. If they like what you have to say they will click on your links and go visit the designated landing page. The article will also generate traffic and generate income.
B. Video Marketing: -This is powerful. Video works well in interactive-world media, and the internet is no exception. I discovered the best way to generate free leads with video is to create a simple overview of your product or service. The best part of video is that it very effective for turning casual visitors into buyers as well. Incorporate video marketing into your marketing mix and you will see increased traffic and more leads all from the simple act of creating a short movie.
C. Free Classifieds: -Classified ads work just as well on the web as on the television. I use Craigslist to generate some of the most valuable free leads for the affiliate programs I represent. All you have to do is create a simple one page website that mentions the product (or service) that you are promoting. I will call it ‘my site’. Within an hour my website should start receiving visitors and wind up in the search engines. I notice that Craigslist gets more than thirty million visits a month, and you can tap into a number of these visitors – for free.
D. Joint Ventures Online: -I use joint ventures to send me thousands of targeted leads. What is a joint venture? A joint venture is a partnership between a couple of internet marketers, where one partner promotes the product of the other partner’s website to generate leads for the other partner’s website. It is a win-win situation for both parties. The proceeds are shared equally between the partners.
E. Give Away Events: -I set up free giveaway events on a regular basis in order to generate free leads. The idea is to purchase ‘leads’ for your partner’s site with the intention of passing them onto your website. People interested in the free offer will visit your site in order to obtain the free product. It is very easy for people to type in the appropriate web address in the browser and come across your offer. It is imperative that you include your personal contact information in all free giveaway events so that people will be able to contact you directly if they are interested in purchasing the product.
F. Offline Integration: -Users can access your offline advertisements for a 30 to 40% discount. It is time-consuming work, but it also helps you generate free leads.
G. Social Network Engines: -When I first joined the MyInternetBusiness GDI Network it was very difficult to get my product noticed among the members.
