PPC search engines are great places to find inexpensive search engine traffic. In fact, we have one PPC search engine that can bring you instant, and continuous (or at least steady) targeted search engine traffic to your web site… but no, they are not one of those cool PPC search engines that you find great if you just spend your money – we are not talking about those. No, no – that is NOT what this article is about. How much it costs, per month, to keep a top ranking on many of the PPC search engines is so much cheaper than trying to do it yourself and leaving the job to somebody, and I mean anybody – you can go to Yahoo, where you are told they would let you between $5 and $10.00 per keyword and that essentially works out to about a dollar per keyword. Now, obviously, you will need to choose a least one keyword that is very specific about what your web site is about – and once you do that you are then down a long road, of trying to figure out how to narrow down your market so you can get your page to the top of the search engine results.
But the idea here is that your web site has to be immediately recognized by the search engine companies. It has to be in their index absolutely, RIGHT NOW.
That is what you are going to do with a PPC search engine; you are going to target people’s search phrases. You are going to have your web site at or near the top of the engines – or at least one of them, for the search phrases that people want given to them by the search engines.
Now, you are going to have to be able to write really well, and especially if you are going to use that PPC search engine to drive traffic to a website that you have created, then it is very important that you find a topic. A topic that you are passionate about is a topic that might be in the rankings of the first page is definitely something you should use, but the most valuable place to find a topic is the topics which are your current ones.
Basically, when you are researching for your topic, you are going to look-up the top or ‘hot topics’ which happen to be trendy at the moment. Do this – go to one or two news sites, and see what new stories there are. See what people are talking about.
So, as soon as you have in your mind a primary topic, it is very important that your next step is to find information on that topic, and not only, to find information, but also to determine what to write in the outline of your informational site.
This is the other really cool thing about PPC search engines. Not only that, but it is very, very easy to find information on your topic. Just go to everyone’s website which is ranking high, and find out what they should be doing to get there. That is the place to contribute.
This is an imperative reason why you will benefit from using what we call ‘informational PPC search engines.’ You can find out what exactly is going on top of the Internet to have a look at what is going on. You can see through your own eyes, what those top ranking web sites look like. We are not recommending that you begin to become an information king, but we are saying, you can make that a priority.
