Here’s another way to make money online. It works for me as well as it does for thousands of current and potential entrepreneurs around the world.
It starts with a question: “What is one click purchase?”
Before I get to that, let me start out by ASKING two questions:
1. What is a visitor?
2. How do you get a visitor to buy or opt into something?
One click purchase is the result of one click from the visitor to the sale or opt in page. Essentially, the answer lies in the back of Web browsers and their thoughts.
The “what is a visitor” part of the question can also be answered using one click purchase, but in a different way. So let me explain.
Let’s say a visitor finds a site or blog with articles to help them solve a problem they have. They like what you have to say/position and read a review “about” the merchandise/service. This one page review doesn’t have to be any longer than two sentences and is usually placed when the visitor lands on a webpage that offers them a free article they can read, post or download.
So now the visitor thinks “I can read and post this article for free.” BAM. Theycan. No explanation needed. No promises of massive traffic or any questionable promises. Just another review/recommendation.
This is curious to Internet surfers because it is a lot of work getting visitors to a website. Getting the visitor to go from page to page. Dealing with the on and off page optimization you have to do for the page to drive the visitor to. This process ‘ Converting’ the visitor into a purchase or acquisitions is a non-trivial task. Part of this process is ‘Conversion Optimization’.
The visitor gets the information he/she is searching for. They are able to make a decision to sign up for something that gives them more information or can alleviate an existing problem they are having. This is your one click purchase. You simply get the lead and allow the site/blog owner to send you offers from the various affiliate programs he is promoting.
We all know from outside looking in that this one click purchase is an improvement because any visitor is more likely to convert into a minimum of a sale. A visitor has put in some effort, entered his/her email information and it is effortless for the new owner or merchant to contact that visitor and close the deal. It is not that difficult to turn a visitor into a buyer.
So the process isn’t that difficult. It is a good idea to offer that one click purchase option other then landing pages where you ask a visitor for a registration or lead.
Do however, offer the click often enough that you have emails from visitors that you can continue to send them information about the offer, the product or at least that back quality information they were looking for. The great benefits of this method are:
1. You have more than one opportunity to be noticed by the person visiting your website.
2. This method works on every visitor.
3. Professionals use it daily.
4. It is as much work as it takes to make a sale.
5. You are not limited to one website, you can have as many as you like.
Many times the person will opt into your free offer and be a member of the address building/research program in order to generate some sales.
That’s what I call one-time income that will give you a lead you can follow up on. Once they become a member of the database you will continue to build a relationship with that customer and hopefully at least a sale per purchase.
Most sites and blogs offer a limited selection of programs or products. My personal preference is to promote those products that I have purchased personally. If I can afford to purchase the products, I will. Conversely, if the price would save me money to purchase the product online I will look for a free trial.
How do you get one-time visitors? How do you get one-time sales?
You need to promote “No cost” opportunities so you can make money every time someone buys the products or services you promote instead of calling once and never returning.
There are many low cost or free offers to promote.
ClickBank (ClickBank.com) is an excellent source for many one-time sales.
Membership sites, offer a one-time service.
Cost-Per-Action (CPA) Networks.
This can be a lucrative method of making money online. The secret is in getting the targeted traffic that converts into sales. As mentioned above.
Most visitors aren’t ready to spend any money. But you can make money every time someone buys something from you.
