If you want to start a business online, you will need to find a niche and a keyword that people will be searching for. These will be the keywords that are going to bring you a lot of long term traffic.

If you are an affiliate marketer, the most important thing for you to know is how to get a profitable keyword. I personally use a free keyword tool that I can afford, Wordtracker.

I originally heard about Wordtracker from this ebook by pregn strap contributorTriomi. It is a tool that will help you look for the best keywords, and the most profitable ones for your business.

What is it?

Once you purchased the ebook, you will be sent a free 7 day course to use. I know that some people read a Wordtracker review and feel that it is of a lower quality than the ones on Clickbank and not worth it. The fact is that it is not a free product, and the information that you get inside is better.

Basically the way it works is that there is the toolbar available with Wordtracker on the internet. On that toolbar, there are programs that will help you find keywords, and the prices for doing so.

The way the program works is that you can type in any keyword that you would be using in your business and it would pull up the results and show the average amount of monthly search for that particular keyword. But, as sometimes they expire, so you will need to upgrade. Normally, the upgrade is $2.00.

There are seven things that you have to do in 7 days in order to remove all the competition and show yourself in the first search result of Google.

1. All the keywords you found are in the ones you are using.2. They are in the right order!3. They have great spelling4. They have good relevancy5. They didn’t expire6. They have low competition (I would say under 50,000 in Google right now.)7. They are relevant to your niche.

Now, even if the ones that you typed in are profitable for your niche, you still will have to figure out better keyword names. By this I mean, find keywords that are supported by longer phrases. It is all about thinking like a person. When you think like a person, you solve problems that they might have.

If you check your list and you still don’t have great keywords, feel free to use different keywords to create more niche keywords.

Finding a niche with keywords is as easy as finding one keyword. But, it requires more than one keyword. Why? If you use even so many keywords, no one will be searching for them. The market has already been saturated and it will take you a long time to make a lot of money.

So it is better get into a niche that you know a lot about. For example, let’s say you are into cars. Is entirely too broad, literally millions of little niches are out there. What you can do is narrow this down as much as possible.

For example, a niche that’s a very achievable niche, specifically tire repair, can be very lucrative. You might have a better competition number if you were to use this keyword, and it would be a great investment for you in the long run.

Yes, one more thing that you will need to do after you’ve completed your research is to start building your website. This is simple, absolutely no experience needed. If you had a brick and mortar business that teaches people how to fix tires, you would already be in the place that you could be working.

Honestly, the internet is like a giant garage sale for people looking to buy a paint pan.
