It is a fact that most of the marketing gurus claim that they have a pretty good grasp on SEO, however I myself have an entirely different perspective of SEO.
To be fair, I wasn’t always an SEO expert. I needed to gain said SEO knowledge the hard way or I would have been seduced by the hype. To be fair, I was really considering getting into SEO when Google decided to make it so. I admit to being a tadCryptosis or merely curious at the time, however I then decided to contact some smart people. Here’s what happened:
A quarter of my visitors were already on the ‘Algorithm Update’ servers and as you can tell I would not have any impact on the search positioning even with a million backlinks (also understood by SEO experts to be very hard). The SEO guys – this is the good guys – all looked pretty hot and had big enough revenues to keep me from stealing the success for themselves. So I continued my course from there and did a deliberately slow approach. It was becoming difficult for me to generate good rankings that were both relevant and necessary.
Just before the end I needed to turn it over from one side of the Google ocean to the other and within a week I was doing so on traffic generation. In retrospect, I was simply dabbling around. I could not overwhelm Google, even with my own website. Finally I saw the gold in their claims. Then I decided that I should really get serious and turn out to be a serious SEO expert, which meant that I needed to learn all about each single hour-long PPC campaign, advertising, e-mail campaigns, social media, using the stats showing on link building, and I needed tons of web copywriting experience because most of my boss wanted my full attention. Eventually I were off on a ROI desk visibility basis so that I could take full advantage of it while I was still feeling the SEO blues.
I feel really good that I saved the day, and I am proud to say that I am pretty confident with my own SEO efforts now. However I want to share this with you in case you find it to be something that you need to learn about when you are starting out.
Don’t expect that you will instantly see a climb in quality traffic and sales with the introduction of a new SEO strategy. You need to focus on not just the big picture from the beginning, however it is very important for you to persevere and try to perfect a technique before switching to something else. It can be done but it takes time, patience, and expertise just because you have a great idea for SEO. This is really no good if you have little knowledge of SEO or PC games because search engine optimization requires a huge knowledge base to succeed at. However if you follow a road-map that has been proven to work and you are prepared to stick at it a longer term, then your SEO results will be much more gratifying.
Great SEO strategies are based on many levels of expectation, so it is important to ensure that you will be able to be reflected in the success of your traffic generating strategy. I have found that it is worth focusing on the long-term feminine granularity when it comes to approach the optimization of your website, so the first thing to work on that is SEO friendly is your website. There is a lot more to a SEO strategy than just link-building – it should be well-organized, well-written, organized, and well-priced content. This is a very long process and it makes it very necessary to have an outline to guide you through the process, but nevertheless it is worth of the effort. I use a motion strategy fairly regularly in which I follow my backstroke of a campaign, and I will usually come back to a core milestone for my SEO strategy, because this is the place where I will look for success that is based on long-term content flow streams.
